GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply to any registration for a yoga session, retreat, workshop, or training organized by:

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions define the registration and participation conditions for yoga retreats, workshops, trainings, and other activities organized by Christine Brockers.

2. Registration

Registration for a retreat or any other activity becomes final upon receipt of the deposit, the amount of which is specified in the detailed description of each retreat or activity.

Registration implies full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.

3. Prices and Payment Terms

The total price of the retreat or activity, as well as the amount of the required deposit, is specified in the information provided for each event.

  • A deposit is required at the time of registration.

4. Cancellation by the Participant

In the event of cancellation by the participant, regardless of the reason:

  • The deposit paid upon registration is non-refundable.

Participants are strongly advised to purchase appropriate cancellation insurance.

5. Cancellation by the Organizer

Christine Brockers reserves the right to cancel a retreat, workshop, training, or activity in the event of:

  • Force majeure;
  • Circumstances beyond her reasonable control that compromise the proper organization of the event;
  • Or if the minimum number of six (6) participants is not reached.

In such cases, participants will be informed as soon as possible, and all deposits paid will be fully refunded. No additional compensation may be claimed.

6. Accommodation and Transportation

Participants are solely responsible for arranging and paying for:

  • Their accommodation;
  • Their flights;
  • Any other transportation required to attend the event.

Christine Brockers does not act as a travel agency and is not involved in booking these services.

Each participant is responsible for ensuring compliance with any travel requirements, including passports, visas, vaccinations, or other administrative formalities.

7. Liability

Each participant agrees to take part in the activities offered while taking into account their own health condition and physical abilities.

Participants are responsible for obtaining medical advice prior to participation if necessary.

Christine Brockers shall not be held liable for accidents resulting from:

  • An undisclosed medical condition or contraindication;
  • Failure to follow instructions provided during the activities;
  • Any external event beyond her control.

8. Insurance

Christine Brockers is covered by professional liability insurance through Groupama.

However, each participant remains responsible for ensuring that they have adequate personal insurance coverage, including but not limited to:

  • Personal liability insurance;
  • Travel assistance and repatriation insurance;
  • Travel insurance;
  • Cancellation insurance, if desired.

9. Image Rights

During sessions, retreats, workshops, and other activities, photographs and videos may be taken.

Unless written objection is submitted before the beginning of the event, participants authorize Christine Brockers to use these images free of charge for communication and promotional purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Website content;
  • Social media;
  • Marketing and communication materials.

10. Personal Data

Information collected during registration is used solely for the organization and management of retreats, workshops, trainings, and related activities.

Such information will not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

In accordance with applicable data protection regulations, participants have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data.

11. Disputes and Governing Law

These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before initiating any legal proceedings.
